On Easter Monday in 1916, a small band of rebels gathered in Dublin to proclaim the birth of an independent Irish Republic. The Easter Rising, as it came to be known, only lasted a week, but its reverberations can still be felt today. SJP is proud to have served as the U.S. Executive Producers of this three-part documentary series, narrated by Liam Neeson, which explores the history, impact, and contested legacy of that pivotal event in its centennial year.
